Grand Canyon Games

LOCATION: Saturday June 21, 2008 - Salvation Army Gym, located at 13th street & Broadway in Phoenix.

IN ADDITION: By participating all competitors automatically qualify for the State Games of the West Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 24-27, 2008. The event will feature approximately 8,000 athletes from thirteen Western States competing for State pride & medals. Competition will be held at venues such as the US Air Force Academy & the US Olympic Training Center.

ENTRY FEES: $25 - 1st division, $40 two divisions, $70 families.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Early entry deadline (postmarked on or before) Saturday June 7, 2008. After that date - add $5 late fee. Entries taken on- site at gym until 8:30 a.m. Saturday June 21, 2008.

ELIGIBILITY: Proof of current insurance membership in USA Judo, USJA, or USJF required. Foreign playersmust provide current insurance membership in their country's recognized national Judo organization.

WEIGH-INS: At the Salvation Army Gym on Friday, June 20 from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday, June 21 from 7-8:30 a.m.

TOURNAMENT STARTS: Saturday, June 21 at 10am.
